San Francisco-based Opulent Temple is one of Burning Man’s longest-attending large-scale sound art camps. The camp is characterized by a DJ booth with flame effects called The O Pod, large circular projection screens, and a series of metal dance platforms called The Star Stage.

In most of its years on playa, OT has been the biggest sound camp in terms of nightly attendance and soundsystem wattage, and has often been placed on either the 10:00 & Esplanade or 2:00 & Esplanade corner.

The camp is well-known for its Wednesday night white party, where thousands of burners will dress up in white and dance to some of the week’s biggest DJs.
